Community

We acknowledge traditional owners are the custodians of the land and the sea and that our Project is located on their land and waters. Listening to and learning from traditional owners is a cornerstone of our engagement for the Eastern Rise Offshore Wind Project. We will work closely with traditional owners so as to understand their connection to and relationship with the land and the waters, and to explore a range of opportunities for partnerships to include training, jobs and business.

BlueFloat Energy recognise that the Eastern Rise Offshore Wind Project may have a range of economic, social, environmental impacts both onshore and offshore. Our approach to development is based on early and authentic engagement through open and respectful dialogue with all the stakeholders to the project. The local communities in the Hunter - Port Stephens regions will be front and centre to this approach.

Our vision for the Eastern Rise Offshore Wind Project is to create positive and enduring social and economic legacies. We believe that the project will drive and deliver innovation, kick-start industrial development, develop local supply chains and infrastructure and create enduring benefits for host communities and local stakeholders.
